"Eric stood out as the most compassionate person.” She further said, “Even when my sister was in a bad mood, he was always smiling and very patient with her. His parents should be very proud of the man they raised, and our family is very grateful for him.”

The patient’s husband praised Eric by saying, “My wife had the opportunity to be cared for by the most attentive, compassionate and nurturing man I’ve ever seen.” He also used “tenacious” and “dedicated” to describe Eric.

The patient’s daughter added, “On mom’s last day with us, Eric stayed past his shift’s end, helping with everything during her last moments with us, then offered his condolences. I don’t have my mom any longer, but I would love to honor her by giving a DAISY to Eric.”
