Eric Sniadoski is a fantastic person and an exceptional nurse! I have known Eric since he was an EMT for an ambulance company. He often brought patients to the ER. He was dialed in with his reports and always took advantage of an opportunity to learn from an experience.

Before I knew it, he began working as an ER tech in our ER. He continued to show his dedication to the job. He is passionate about learning, taking time to ask questions, listening intently, and putting to practice the skills learned.

My husband brought me into the emergency department for the worst headache of my life, increased drowsiness, and a bit of confusion. I was recovering from a previous brain bleed caused by the internal EEG electrodes. A CT scan showed I had a massive subdural bleed caused by the electrodes from an internal EEG. Eric was not my primary nurse, but he assisted at the bedside, and when his shift was over, instead of going home and getting much-needed sleep, he sat by the side of my bed keeping my husband company and me. Even though I knew I had a brain bleed, my brain did not comprehend my situation or severity. I kept telling Eric to go home, but he knew my situation's importance and stayed by our side.
My husband emphasized how he helped get me squared away upon my arrival at the ER. He helped start my IV, got me blankets, and after his shift ended, he sat with my husband until we were discharged and made our way to UCLA.

Eric has a heart of gold, and Saddleback is truly blessed to have him as a nurse. When I share my story, he is always mentioned, and of course, I start to tear up when I talk about his compassion and exceptional bedside nursing skills. I am forever grateful for the care we received from the staff, Dr. C, and especially Eric that night.
