A cancer patient with a new tracheostomy lost his speaking valve off the end of his trach and lost his ability to speak. Eric followed up aggressively with speech-language pathology to ensure the patient had a replacement valve while he was receiving his chemotherapy. The patient and his wife were so grateful. The patient loves to talk, and his time is shortened due to his cancer diagnosis. Eric goes beyond his job requirements to do the best for our patients.
