Eric has made this trip to the ED our best one ever! My husband has autism, and Eric’s quiet, patient, and gentle manner has put my husband at ease. Not only is he skilled (my husband didn’t even know that labs were drawn), but he has also been attentive and solicitous. He has gone above and beyond with light control, water or ice chips, warm blankets, and making the bed comfortable. He even thought outside the box with urine management so that my husband could be as comfortable as possible and rest. For people with autism, knowing when a touch or noise will happen is an important consideration not often received, but Eric always told us what was happening next. Skills and Kindness= MAGIC!
