I was being returned from the ICU back to my room on the second floor. Things were somewhat hectic, I had to be plugged back in so to speak, several people were in the room, just trying basically to get me settled back in, and then this happened. I see her face behind everyone, and the poor thing is out of breath. She literally came running to my room and said "I just heard they brought you back, I was worried." Now listen very carefully to these next nine words, words that touched my heart and made me cry. She said "I had to make sure that you were OK." Not many of us get a chance to meet their guardian angel, on that day I was blessed.
