Erica is always a wonderful nurse to her patients, always putting them first. She has been taking care of the same patient for the last month when he comes in for his dressing changes. He is by far not an easy patient, but her calmness and compassion towards him exceeds all expectations. During a trying dressing change she encouraged the physician to wait until she had a chance to calm him down. She got on a personal level with this patient, focusing his attention on calming himself and preparing him for what was to come next. She never lost her focus on this patient, making sure his experience was the best it could be. She plans ahead and makes sure a consistent face from Child Life is always present. She made sure no care was compromised and the appropriate time was spent to calm and reassure the patient to make sure his experience was the best it could be.

She is a exemplary nurse and I am proud to work with her. She provides all of her patients with SPE!!
