Erica has been a very great nurse ever since she’s introduced herself. She is very gentle, kind, and patient with my cousin as he is fighting for his life. She treats him as a person even though he is unresponsive at the moment. She talks to him while she is tending to him, she lets him know what she is about to do and lets him know if he might feel a pinch or some pressure or even if there will be an adjustment in his position.

She also communicates with the family no matter how many times she may have to repeat herself to different family members; she does it with grace time and time again. I feel very comfortable knowing that he is in her care when we’re not around. She even brought refreshments for the family.

My cousin was about to get a test done and Erica asked who his favorite artist is; before we walked out she was already playing notorious B.I.G. Erica really treats him great. I can honestly say without a doubt that I love her for him. Nothing in this world at this moment, and every other moment before is more beautiful than seeing her genuine and purposeful personality illuminating through her care for her patient. I know this job is not only just a check for her, but it is something that she is passionate about. On behalf of my family and my cousin, we would like to nominate Erica and say thank you for all that you are doing and not only for my cousin but for other patients as well. We thank you, Erica!
