My daughter was born with PRS and spent the first two months of her life on 8C. During that time she made a lot of friends but her Auntie Erica was her favorite. She always demonstrates lots of caring and love with our daughter but really went above and beyond by constantly giving her cuddles any time she had a free hand. Fast forward over a year and we came back to have palate repair surgery. We were HOPING that Erica would be scheduled and to our delight, she was her nurse for the night! Erica said she saw the patient roster and saw our daughter's name and took an extra shift just so she could see her. This made all the difference. My husband and I were so relieved to know that she would be our daughter's assigned nurse. During the night, Erica gave our daughter the most gentle and tender care and the next morning my girl actually smiled at her a few times. (she hasn't smiled at any of us parents yet lol)
