My brother aspirated - stats dropped - Erica was his nurse. She worked quickly to assist him. She got him to the ICU. Because of her performance and knowledge, my brother's life was saved. She not only showed concern for him, it was extended also to me. I am his sister. My brother was put on life support. He was taken back to the 9th floor where he continued to heal. Erica went above and beyond to check on him during his stay at St. Luke's. She stopped me every day to ask if I was okay and how my brother was doing. She deserves this DAISY Award!
