Erica has always been passionate about providing amazing patient care. While being in clinical I have witnessed her advocate for her patients time and time again. She always seems to go the extra mile to make sure everyone around her feels included.

Erica consistently exemplifies what it means to be a nurse by using her natural talent to be compassionate to every patient and family she meets. She works hard to continue to improve and never complains when things get hard. She pushes through all challenges while encouraging and motivating others. She is not afraid to ask questions and admit mistakes. She treats everyone equally and does her best to provide the best care that she can. You can tell she truly cares for her patients and that is the most important quality for a great nurse. Erica's down-to-earth nature acts as a great tool in the clinical setting to make patients comfortable and break down barriers. Her affinity for making everyone feel welcome will serve her well throughout her career and help to make the stressful and difficult moments less terrible, alongside her positive and infectious attitude. Erica always uplifts her classmates with praise after exams, check offs, and challenging clinical experiences. In clinical, Erica has many experiences of deeply connecting with her patients and takes her time to earn their trust by giving them attention and her best effort.
