Erica was with us during the day. Her compassion, her empathy, her heartfelt sympathy was beyond the "job," beyond her profession. During the baby's baptism, her tears were as real as ours. Erica made sure she took the pictures of the baby's little hands and feet. Her 'touch' was so careful, so respectful, so delicate. She was with us throughout. Erica is a blessing. Erica's final role was to ask how we wanted to say goodbye. The family elected to have Erica take the child. Her compassion was so comforting.
