Erica was so kind, caring, and compassionate to me and my Dad when we were going through the hardest thing we've ever been through.
In April 2020, I was sent to the emergency room with a low oxygen level and later diagnosed with COVID. My twin sister was already on a vent with COVID. My sister and I were raised by a single dad since we were 5, needless to say, we're very close. When he dropped me off at the ER, Daddy waited outside in his car. I asked Erica to call him and inform him of what was going on so that he could go home and get some rest. She called him right away! He called me and said that he'd spoken to her. He asked me if I caught her name. I said, "it's Erica." Daddy said, "I think that's a great sign. Erica is your guardian angel. Things are going to be okay." The year before my twin sister and I were born, our parents had a baby girl. She only lived for 30-minutes and passed away. Her name was Erica.
Erica is an amazing nurse. She was so kind, caring, and compassionate to me and my Dad when we were going through the hardest thing we've ever been through. She smiled, laughed at my jokes, and encouraged us so much. Erica is what a nurse should be. We are forever grateful to her and for her!
