While this is my first time admitted as a patient, I have been in the hospital on many occasions for family members. While ALL my nurses here did an excellent job of caring for me, Erica Stopp was exceptional. I have had 3 NG tubes placed in the last 2 weeks. The 1st NG tube was very uncomfortable but necessary. The 2nd NG tube placement was at another facility. It was brutally shoved in with great pain and trauma. Bleeding followed and they said bleeding is normal. Erica Stopp put in my 3rd NG tube next. She was gentle, professional, kind and careful not to cause undue pain or trauma. It was "almost" painless. In addition, she made me feel confident with all other needs. The following days, she has come to my room with greetings and wishing me well (even when she was not assigned to me). The BEST NURSE ever!!! Very patient and compassionate. As a retired teacher of 32 years, I have evaluated many many people. Kaiser is very fortunate to have Erica Stopp.
