Ericka will brighten the room, even on her most challenging days. She has a way of lifting your spirits and putting a smile on your face. Ericka decided that she wanted to show appreciation and share smiles throughout the hospital and thank all the various departments that interact with the med-surg patients. It takes a team to provide good care, and to show this appreciation she developed a plan. For most, if not all of 2017, Ericka and her helpers made baked goods and gathered items to make baskets for different departments, delivering one each month to areas like pharmacy, radiology, respiratory, surgery etc. She gave her time, her talents, her money, and most importantly her care and compassion to say thank you and share a smile. She is consistently selfless and so inspiring!
