I was only supposed to be here for an Outpatient procedure but ended up having to stay because of a delay. They took me to 2E late that night. That's when my day and night got better. My nurse, Erik, was absolutely fantastic. He is the best nurse I have had in years. He was very professional, and his demeanor was unsurpassed. He stayed cool in a high-pressure situation. He tended to my problems and corrected every one of them. When I put the call light on he answered immediately. I just can't remember this type of commitment in a long time. He deserves to be recognized for this. He turned my stressful situation into a positive experience.
I just read that this Award was started as a result of an immune disease, which is even better because my immune system is attacking me. How fitting. Things always happen for a reason! Thanks again. Thank you, Erik.
