Erika was nominated by a peer. A patient who was seeking to enter a shelter in a city over three hours away presented to the Urgent Care with wet clothes and shoes. This patient received treatment for his injuries and Erika bought them new dry clothes and shoes to ride the bus. This is going above and beyond to help our patients get what they need to remain healthy. This was such a compassionate gesture of going above and beyond during this patient's rough time.
