I received so many compliments for the way I did things and I always gave credit to my husband’s intelligent nurse, Erika.
My husband has Parkinson’s disease. The first time we were at Shirley Ryan was November through the end of December. He had Erika as his nurse on many occasions and she was always exceptional. There are so so many things I would have never known how to do for my husband when we left Shirley Ryan if it wasn’t for Erika!! I am a hands-on learner rather than listening to a lecture or watching someone else do the job. Erika was kind enough to let me try to do things for my husband under her watchful eye. I can’t tell you just how beneficial this was to my husband’s care. We had home health after leaving and I received so many compliments for the way I did things and I always gave credit to my husband’s intelligent nurse, Erika. She always had me do things like I would do them at home. Erika is such a great wonderful nurse!
