After many weeks and weeks of A being in the ICU, I have watched Erika give extraordinary and compassionate care. She has been attentive to his every pain, discomfort, and mood change. She has been his advocate to physicians and staff to make sure his care progresses, and he gets better and stronger. She has been A’s cheerleader with every huge moment from getting to stay off the ventilator, passing his swallow study, and hearing his first words with his speaking valve. So many nurses were involved in his care, but she always went above and beyond for him.

Erika has been a tremendous influence on A’s recovery. Erika has taken exceptional steps in A’s mobility by comforting and encouraging his recovery. She is very patient in her caregiving and explains thoroughly to our family all aspects of A’s condition and recovery. We appreciate all Erika has done.
