Erika went out of her way to provide my grandfather with every comfort he needed before he passed. She ordered him his favorite food for his last meal and went down to the kitchen to find it so he could have blueberry pancakes and ice cream. My grandfather was very uncomfortable, but she was always helping adjust him to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. She got him ice packs and other things to help regulate his temperature and keep him comfortable. She was very empathetic in explaining the death process, as well as explaining the medication that she was administering. She made sure to give us space as my grandfather was in his final moments and was there to comfort us after he passed. She was incredibly compassionate to my grandfather, always treating him like a family member, making sure he was getting everything he needs. Erika made us feel like she was giving our grandfather her complete and undivided attention, even though she had an entire floor to care for. She went above and beyond what one would expect from a busy caregiver. Thank you, Erika!
