In the beginning, my first few days were very nerve-wracking and overwhelming for me and my wife. It wasn't until we met Erika, that we began to feel at ease. Erika fully explained what was going on and reassured us that we were at the right place and everything will be fine. It was her compassionate patient care that made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything in detail for the medications I was taking and the room procedures she was performing. Questions that my wife and I had were always fully explained. She really demonstrated what patient care in the ICU is all about. My wife is a nurse and was truly impressed.
