My husband was a patient in the surgical ICU after his liver transplant; while everyone was great Erin really went above and beyond caring for not only him but making sure I was updated and taken care of. Due to COVID, I was only allowed to stay for 15 mins a day. She kept my husband calm and reassured as well as kept me updated no matter how many questions I asked. She was his nurse his first night out (and after) and they were worried about bleeding, but she remained so calm and collected I never felt worried. Erin's demeanor and presence kept me worry-free and able to actually rest. She even brushed his hair into a man bun and had our daughter laughing on the phone. The time and care she took to not only tending to him but us as well. Especially during COVID, she will never be forgotten and was noticed beyond measure. She never brushed me off of the phone no matter how many questions I had and was so sweet and nice. Thanks!
