Erin went above and beyond to care for a patient. Patient was actively suicidal patient who ran out of the ED and headed for the freeway. Patient climbed the fence and was attempting to run into traffic. Erin pursued the patient with security and talked the patient down off the fence and persuaded him to return to the emergency department where he was placed on a hold. Erin saved this patients life by her quick thinking and calm compassionate care.
