Whether it's at 7 am or 3 pm Erin is there with a smile, her camera phone, and all of the DAISY trimmings including the donuts!
When I started in March the DAISY Awards had been on hold for some time. Resuming this important recognition was very important to me and I spoke with Erin about it. I told her that I wanted to get this up and running again right away and I wanted to catch up with all the recognitions that were missed and get back in the swing. Erin jumped right on it, and she has not stopped since.
Erin leads the DAISY program without a single complaint. She is present for all of the awards and is so highly regarded by those who allow us to maintain this program, our LHH Auxiliary. Since I started, Erin has traveled with me to present awards across LHH as well as at MEETH and to present our first DAISY Award at LHGV. Whether it's at 7 am or 3 pm Erin is there with a smile, her camera phone, and all of the DAISY trimmings including the donuts! She never wants to be in the pictures, but she is the nurse who is working hard behind the scenes to ensure that we celebrate other deserving nurses and ancillary team members with the DAISY Award and the Caring Heart Award.
Aside from all of this, Erin is a dynamic wound, ostomy, and continence nurse. Her leadership and expertise ensure that we provide the best possible skincare to our patients. She is passionate and dedicated to supporting nurses and others in their quest to also provide high-quality care. Erin is a valued nursing team member in both the clinical and leadership arena.
