Erin was my ICU nurse. She went above and beyond her job responsibilities. She was bright, upbeat, helpful, extremely compassionate, attentive to needs before they were brought up. She was able to nearly predict what was needed to make me comfortable. And beyond that, she was like a friend. She listened, she danced, she made the ICU stay the very best it could have possibly been. I looked forward to seeing her face, and I nearly cried when they moved me out from the ICU and from her care. Her last words to me were 'I love taking care of you'. And I honestly saw her treat other patients the exact same way she did to me. She was constantly in the other rooms, same upbeat personality, same Erin. I truly believe this phenomenal nurse loves her job, loves her patients, loves her life here in TGH and loves, period.

This hospital is very rich to have Erin. She has talents and traits that can't be taught and only come naturally to special people. Treasure this beautiful Nurse, and please honor her dedication, commitment and tenacity to not only get the job done, but do it with an amazing perspective.
