Erin was the nurse for our mother. As there was nothing else that could be done for her, Erin was so patient and kind while providing extraordinary care.
We have a huge family that was in to see her. People were in and out of the room donning isolation gear and asking Erin a million questions. Not once did she get frustrated or short with us. She explained everything to all of us as many times and as many ways as we needed.
She always made sure that our mother's best interest was the priority and ensured that she had anything that she may want or need in such a terrible time.
She cared for all of us that day. She even told us when she asked my mother if there was anything she could do for her, my mother's response was "my grandchildren". Because of Erin, we knew that we needed to get the kids in to see her and she got her chance to say goodbye to all of them. For that, we will be forever grateful.
