Erin consistently goes above and beyond for her patients and co-workers. She is always willing to help in any way she can and always has a positive attitude and a smile on her face.
Erin had a developmentally delayed 10-year-old to admit. She had taken care of her once before, so it helped that she was familiar with her, but she did such a great job getting her ready. She worked at the patient's pace, to cause as little upset to her and her mother as she possibly could. She worked closely with anesthesia, letting them know how best to care for her. When it was time for surgery, she went back with the patient, helping the surgery crew get her to her room, and stayed with her as they started her IV and got her safely to sleep. Her care made the experience much less stressful for the patient and her mother.
Erin deserves recognition for a job well done.
