Erin Hulea, RN was commended for her action while caring for a patient on her telemetry unit who need her attention and needed to be transferred to the intensive care unit. The nurse practitioner on that case wrote a letter commending Erin for her great care. She states that Erin "maintained a dialog with with me throughout the day and alerted me to the patient's subtle changes in the early afternoon. The close monitoring that Erin provided enabled me to get the additional support from my colleagues in a timely manner. This made a huge difference in preventing the patient from further deteriorating. It was a pleasure working with her during a critical time for this patient. I feel very confident with the nursing care provided on that unit."
