September 2024 Honoree
Erin Keating 2024, RN
I worked closely with Erin for over a year. I was new to mental health, and Erin’s compassion for our Veterans in RRTP was clear and contagious. She explained that they had a lot of Veterans who returned to their program, and she looked at it as not that the Veteran failed, but that the program was successful because they felt safe coming back.
This was just one way that she shared her passion with me and with all of those around her. I witnessed Erin not only advocating for our Veterans but also for the RRTP Staff. During a time of staff shortages, Erin worked tirelessly on recruitment and jumped in to help relieve staff for much-needed breaks. As a leader who started on the front lines of her department, she fully understands the day-to-day operations, which makes her a great resource to her staff, and her staff recognize this. Erin is a hard worker with an obvious compassion for both her staff and the Veterans that they serve!

Thank you, Erin, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
