Erin Kinney, BSN, RN

We have a patient who has been born with congenital complications, whose parents have not been able to come around to be with the baby, the baby was in the NICU for about 3 months. Erin was essentially her second mother during this time. She would always hold her, sing to her, buy her clothing, and wash it for her. The baby eventually was discharged but shortly ended up in another hospital with more complications. Erin continues to care for her on her days off. She takes her out to the patio of the hospital so she can get some fresh air. She is an all-around amazing person and this baby feels cared for and protected by Erin, she senses her presence and she relaxes immediately feeling safe in her arms.
