Erin is never too busy to help a patient or a team member. I do not work on the unit with her, but the fact that I can still recognize her relentless work ethic speaks volumes. Not only does she work as a charge nurse on our ICCU, she also covers house supervisor, as well as being the caring practice committee chair. I sit on the committee with her and I can tell you first hand that nothing comes before the patient in Erin's eyes! Nurses are often overworked, stressed, and extremely busy, and although I'm sure this is true for Erin as well, you would never be able to tell by the way she carries herself or interacts with colleagues or patients. She is an inspiration to me personally, and always reminds me of the kind of nurse I strive to be. I just want her to know her hard work does not go unnoticed, and she touches the lives of every single person in this hospital in one way or another.
