Erin is an example of an Extraordinary Nurse who adds much value to our nursing unit. Just recently, she had a patient who had an unexpected decline and cardiac arrested. During a very stressful day with downtime and orienting a new nurse, Erin was on top of it. She was informative, calm, and collected. She knew the patient perfectly which allowed for good communication and adequate care between team members. After all efforts were exhausted, Erin waited until the patient's wife arrived at the hospital and sat and cried with her in the patient's room. She spent personal time consoling her and sharing the compassionate unselfishness that she has. Erin is an amazing nurse who cares about her patients and goes above and beyond on a daily basis for them. She is a true asset to our unit and to the Carroll Hospital community.
