If there is anything about this hospital I will miss, it will be Nurse Erin and the wonderful smile she greeted me with every time I saw her.
I’ve been admitted in this hospital three times this year and was starting to see a pattern I did not want to continue. In January I was admitted with Covid and really didn’t know if I was going to live or not. But with the excellent care I received in this hospital, I made a full recovery. Then in April, I had an infection in my toe that had me here for five days. So, October rolls around and I am back. The toe infection is back, and it is now in the bone, so the toe has to come off. I was feeling pretty bummed out. There was a nurse however who really cheered me up. She was kind and showed a lot of interest in me and my illness. She made herself available to me and did everything she could to make me feel better. Although the other nurses were very good and did an excellent job, Nurse Erin hardly ever walked past my door without asking me how I was doing or if there was anything I needed. I don’t get that much attention at home. If there is anything about this hospital I will miss, it will be Nurse Erin and the wonderful smile she greeted me with every time I saw her. I believe that her big smile and eagerness to help me was a big part of my recovery and I truly want to thank her for everything she did for me during my stay in the hospital.
