The ER received 2 patients from a motor vehicle accident. Their car had been totaled. The charge nurse called and spoke with Erin in surgery to see if she could help them as she would be off duty at 3:30. The husband was medically cleared and released. Annette RN called a friend and arranged a rental car. Erin stayed and followed the patient to Goodyear to get his possessions as his wife had not been released from the emergency department yet. Erin and the husband returned to the hospital to pick up the wife. She then showed them where to go and helped them load the rental car and sent them on their way to Surprise, AZ. Upon their arrival to Surprise they called Erin and let her know they made it safely and the wife told Erin she now had a wonderful story to tell her Sunday school class about Kingman, AZ.
