Erin Nygaard, RN

Erin embodies all Essentia Health Core Values every shift. She is highly empathic when talking with patients/families and always advocates for her patient's comfort, respect, and well-being. During one shift, Erin calmed a patient on a ventilator who was very anxious/emotional/fearful. Erin held her hand and when she had to step out of the room, she placed a ceramic Angel that the patient's family had brought in the patient's hand and told her she was safe. This is just one example of how Erin strives to be the best nurse she can be.
