Erin is extraordinarily patient and family focused. She goes out of her way to assure the family's needs are met, particularly on admission to SICU.

Erin is an excellent clinician who believes there is always something new to learn. She is dedicated to her families and patients, going above and beyond to help them in their moment of crisis, whether it is arranging a place to stay, or getting others to support them. She is a constant resource on the night shift. She will assist her coworkers not by just doing for them, but assisting and growing them as well if that is what is needed. She continuously re-evaluates herself and her management of the patient, striving to provide the best possible care, and working with the family for the best outcome, even if that is an end of life decision. Erin is never afraid to approach this subject and is a comfort to the families who are in this situation.

She exemplifies patient and family centered care in all of her interactions, yet supports her coworkers and their needs as well. She allows the families to trust in her and therefore the unit and organization as a whole.
