I, and three other staff from Green Bay Correctional Institution, had a day that included surgery for a high-risk inmate. We were occupied with this inmate very early in the day and we were at the hospital all day! After surgery, while in recovery, Erin Murphy was the nurse assigned to our inmate's recovery. We didn't eat throughout the day because of the situation. Erin took it upon herself to arrange meals for us after we left the recovery area. This act of kindness from Erin, and Aurora Hospital, was very appreciated! By the time we returned to Green Bay Correctional Institution and finished our duties for the day it was 5:00 PM. If it wasn't for Erin and Aurora's help with the meal we wouldn't have eaten all day. Erin was very professional while dealing with our inmate, which can be a challenge sometimes.
