I am writing to let you know how great I feel about your outstanding group of employees and most of all two very outstanding, a Nurse and a CNA.

I was a patient on the 4th Floor in Room 412. My roommate was a gentleman whose name was Jerry, who had an advanced stage of Alzheimers and was easily distracted and at times very hard to control. He kept getting out of bed and had the staff constantly in the room trying to control him.

Now comes Erin and CNA Ross taking over duties and right from the start they showed such understanding and compassion that it was something to see. Ross walked Jerry and watched over him and talked to him and soothed his mood swings and it was wonderful to see.

Erin took time to help Jerry understand that he was in the hospital and sat with him to help him eat and showed such loving care that Jerry, I think, understood that he didn't remember a lot, but knew that there were two wonderful people who made sure he didn't harm himself and soothed him.

I feel that I had to write this letter to you so that you know that you have two special people working on your staff. I felt so good seeing them taking care of Jerry and knowing that this was a hard situation and it was handled with care and dignity.

Please let Erin and Ross know that they have someone who appreciates them.
