Erin was my wife's nurse on the day we found out our daughter no longer had a heartbeat at 38 weeks. She never left my wife's side. Through all the difficult decision-making and processing of this information, Erin supported us and went above and beyond to make us, and our family members who were supporting us, comfortable. Erin is kind, compassionate, and did everything she could to make us feel understood and supported.

She stayed past her shift to help my wife deliver our angel, E. She was also the person we chose for Charlie's Way to help us feel more comfortable about the unimaginable reality of leaving our daughter behind. Erin was so loving with us and our daughter E; she will forever be a part of our story. When my wife had to return to triage a few days later for other complications, Erin was working and made sure to visit with us and talk with us about our baby and how we were coping. Any family going through the tragedy of pregnancy loss or stillbirth would be beyond lucky to have Erin and the many other amazing staff members at Highland's labor and delivery on their team.

Erin was my nurse when I went into triage for decreased fetal movement. Erin was by my side on the worst day of my life, when I found out there was no heartbeat at 38 weeks. She looked right into my eyes and told me she was going to stay with me. Erin helped me deliver our beautiful angel even though I began pushing after her shift had ended. Erin helped us with Charlie's Way and keeping our precious girl safe when we had to leave her. Erin will forever be a huge part of my family's story, and we could never thank her enough.
