The worst day of my life. My husband and I went for a routine OB appointment only to be told our baby had no heartbeat. We were sent straight to labor & delivery for an evaluation where we were advised labor would be induced and I would have to deliver my stillborn baby. 53 hours later, he was born. All were kind and considerate, but three nurses stood out. These nurses went above and beyond for my family in their own special way.

These women truly embody what it means to be a nurse. My experience would not have been what it was had it not been for these nurses. Erin Shaw arranged care for our baby after delivery. She contacted the priest for baptism, dressed our baby in his baptism gown, and took pictures during the baptism. Without her, we would not have these memories. We will be forever grateful to her.
