Today, my three-year-old son had to have ear tubes put in. I was extremely nervous because he had a terrible fear of doctors and medical professionals. Today at St. Francis he experienced none of that. Everyone went out of their way to make him feel safe. They even had a sweet teddy bear waiting on him in his room. He loves it and is currently sleeping with it. Erin, who was putting him to sleep, especially went the extra mile. I was so terrified to have him leave me to go back for the surgery. Erin got down on his level, talked to him, found out his favorite show, pulled out her phone, and played it until he fell asleep. He didn’t even realize I wasn’t there because of how wonderful she was. Because of the care my son received from Erin and so many others at St. Francis, my fears and his were calmed and now this morning will be a precious memory in my heart of my baby being so well loved and taken care of. I cannot imagine a better experience
