Erin was so amazing with a patient we had in the ER who came in for fetal demise. The patient came in by ambulance after delivering her 16-week-old fetus at home. After checking the patient in, I called OB to see if they had anyone trained in RST who would be willing to come offer resources to the patient and her spouse. Erin willingly came down to the ER that night and was amazing! She offered to take the fetus up to the department to clean the child for the mother and father. She brought the baby back downstairs when she finished.

Erin took the time to weigh the baby, do footprints, dress the baby in a pink swaddle, and sit with the patient until final decisions were made. She did this with grace and compassion. It was so obvious that she does her job well and with so much empathy. The ER staff were so thankful for all her help and guidance when dealing with this. What a rockstar!
