Erin was nominated by a colleague for her work during an emergent situation involving a C-section.
"I have to say that if it wasn't for Erin's initiative that day, I feel sure we would not have had such an amazing and safe outcome. She went above and beyond her responsibilities and out of her comfort zone to render aid to a fellow nurse and a patient in need. Her extraordinary skill, supporting attitude, level of knowledge, positive attitude and compassion reminded me once again why we are nurses. Erin Thomas exhibited an admirable spirit of teamwork, and is a true hero in my opinion.
