I was medi-flighted to Emanuel Hospital for a heart issue and tachycardia from a small town in the mountains. The morning after the flight to Emanuel Hospital, I met Erin, who would be our nurse for the shift. Her helpful, competent demeanor was a blessing.

Even though busy, she stayed to answer questions so we would best understand what to expect and decipher medical language. I felt like I had a true friend looking out for me. Erin made sure we understood test procedures and results, and medications she helped with follow-up documents for further appointments.

When my husband had missed the cardiologist’s visit, she arranged for him to stop by once more to recap results and future care needed. This really helped us understand what our next steps should be, even drawing a diagram to illustrate the heart functions related to Dr Reza’s discussion.

We want to express our appreciation and thanks to Erin for her kindness and professionalism during our stay. One last thing, she has a great smile, thank you, Erin!
