Erin Woodford is such a delight to work with. She has a smile on her face every day. One day there was a veteran in the waiting room sitting in a wheelchair. Erin noticed that the Veteran had an accident and his wheelchair and clothes were soaked. She immediately took the Veteran back into an empty clinic room. She got him a new change of clothes and called housekeeping to retrieve a new wheelchair. Erin took this a step further realizing that there might be a bigger problem at hand. The Veteran was here to see podiatry; that being said, Erin spoke to the Urologist on staff that day and explained what happened. Erin and the Urologist ended up giving the Veteran a catheter and doing some lab work. Once Erin got the Veteran cleaned up and taken care of, she still was able to get him to his original podiatry appointment. The Veteran was so thankful to Erin and gave her a big hug and thanked her for taking such good care of him. This is just one example of many things Erin does on a daily basis. I am a Veteran myself and if I could choose the nurse that would be caring for me at my visits it would be Erin.
