Erlinda was my PACU Nurse when I had surgery in December. To say she was amazing is an understatement. She was the first voice i heard, kind and encouraging, when I awoke from anesthesia, orienting me to my surroundings. She kept asking about my pain, and talked to me to keep me stimulated to aid in becoming more alert.

Her actions were gentle when checking my incisions and placing an abdominal binder. She always treated me with grace and dignity. Erlinda's chipper spirit was so comforting and she even made me laugh as every few minutes she was feeding me ice chips or encouraging me to use my IS.

I can honestly say I did not get a sore throat from intubation, which I believe in part was due to all of the ice chips. Her actions seemed effortless, but always with intent. Erlinda is a true gem and an asset to the healthcare profession. I cant thank her enough for the phenomenal care she provided!
