Erica consistently goes above and beyond for both her patients and her coworkers. Whenever someone needs help, Erica is always there, ready to lend a hand and offer support.
She has a tremendous heart for patient care and will go out of her way to ensure patients have what they need. For example, she works hard to find clothing and other essentials for patients experiencing homelessness, helping them maintain dignity during difficult times.
Erica is also a source of support for her colleagues. She is always willing to listen, provide encouragement, and be there for staff members who need someone to talk to. The same compassion she shows her coworkers is reflected in the way she cares for her patients. She takes the time to sit with them, listen to their concerns, and help address the issues that may be causing them anxiety about discharge or their future care.
As we all know, healthcare can present challenging situations, including caring for patients who are angry, frustrated, or acting aggressively. As a member of leadership, Erica uses her nursing experience, knowledge, and calm demeanor to de-escalate difficult situations and help patients feel heard and understood.
Erica is an exceptional leader, nurse, and teammate. Her compassion, dedication, and willingness to help others make a positive difference every day. We are fortunate to have her on our team.
