Nurse Esper was not only very thorough at her job, ensuring I was comfortable, encouraging me as I was struggling with the effect of an emergency C-section and a difficult delivery. She was also kind and patient and went above and beyond her duties when she helped us with our new baby. Our baby girl was having problems with her digestion and crying a lot. At 2 am, my husband and I got very disheartened and didn't know what to do anymore. I didn't want to send our little baby to the nursery but was exhausted. Nurse Esper saw the situation, came to us, picked up the baby and rocked her for over 30 minutes in our room, in the dark, so I could get a rest. This went a long way to make me feel supported and valued and thinking about it now, I am still amazed by her dedication.
