My husband was brought to ICU from the ER where he was unresponsive. Essence went above and beyond to take care of him and to get the proper people in to decide on the treatment he needed. He was left alone with me in the ER, I am disabled and I had to take care of him when he was throwing up, I couldn’t get any help, and no one came back to his room at the ER after the initial check-in. She made sure once he came to ICU someone was with him and took excellent care of him. When she returned after her days off, I told her my husband would like to her and she turned around in the hall and headed straight to his room and asked if he was awake, so she got to meet and talk with him. We are very grateful for her.
