Estela was nominated by an Emergency Department PCA for her work with a young SVT patient who was very scared. The PCA wrote that Estela was compassionate and explained to the patient and family what was happening in a way that they could understand. Estela provided excellent care, identified the problem early-on, and worked well with the doctor to help save the patient's life. Estela is always compassionate and is a wonderful nurse!

Estela is described by her peers as a crucial member of the team. She's always working with a smile on her face no matter what's happening around her and she's always flexible with her work schedule and able to help with coverage. Estela is always willing to help make the patient as well as their family feel welcome and her patients say she is friendly, understanding, and patient.
