Esther Amponsah, RN

A patient's family member shared that everyone at Banner Churchill Community Hospital from housekeeping to nurses and doctors is very kind and helpful. She tearfully shared that every time she comes here she is treated with respect and genuine concern. She said, “You have some really good people working here for you.” The family member said Esther was an angel. Esther called her daughter (with her permission) and explained the treatment plan to her. Esther answered all of the patient’s and the daughter’s questions. The family member said that she was so grateful that Esther took the time to talk with her daughter and it relieved her anxiety hearing how the hospital was taking care of her mother. As the patient's family member shared this story, you could see the appreciation on her face as she lit up talking about Esther and how this simple phone call made all the difference for her that day.
